ABOUT US
After several years of operation as a civic committee in the Pompeii region, the Civitatis 2024 APS Association was established. Since the Association began operating as a Committee in 2019, we have made significant contributions to the development and enhancement of our community via social, cultural, and environmental projects.
In these five years of activity, we have promoted and implemented numerous significant projects. Among the most important are:
Cultural events: organization and support for the Jazzit Fest (2019), organization and support for the three editions of the Pompei Street Festival (2021, 2022, 2023) and the CoolTourFest (2024);-
Urban regeneration: intervention for the redevelopment of the Parco della Mamma e del Bambino (2019);

Covid-19 emergency: collaboration with the Municipality of Pompeii in the distribution of personal protective equipment and food supplies for people in difficulty (2020/21);

Support for the Social Canteen: assistance in the provision of meals and the distribution of food parcels for families in need;
- Food Bank: active participation during national food donation days for the most vulnerable and disadvantaged households;

Artistic and social initiatives: contribution to the realization of the Cracking Art project (2023), which has added significant artistic and social value to the area;

School collaborations: organization of book presentations and laboratory workshops with the schools of Pompeii;

Integrated horse riding: an inclusive initiative for impaired pupils was launched, through integrated horseback riding in partnership with the Amedeo Maiuri Institute and the Municipality of Pompeii.
Our commitment to Pompeii focuses on creating synergies between social, cultural, and environmental issues, working side by side with the local community and institutions for a more sustainable and inclusive future.
